FAQ

Before You Buy

How much does a remote control lawn mower cost?

Prices vary by model and quantity, generally ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. For specific pricing, please contact us online.

How far away can I control the mower?

Up to 200–1,000 meters in open terrain, depending on conditions. In complex terrain, effective range is about 200–1,000 meters, depending on obstacles and interference.

Does the mower work on slopes? What’s the max angle?

Yes. Trimmora mowers are designed for mowing on slopes. Maximum slope capability varies by model. Always follow the operating limits specified in the manual for the specific machine. Always operate from the top or side of the slope for safety — never from below.

Can I use it in the rain?

The mower body is splash-proof (IPX4-rated) for operation in wet grass or light drizzle, but it is not fully waterproof. Do not operate in heavy rain or submerge it in water. The remote control is not waterproof—keep it dry at all times.

What safety features does the mower have?

Emergency stop button on the remote (standard remote control not included). Automatic engine shutdown when the remote signal is lost. Protective rubber chain guards on the front and rear to deflect debris.

How do I start the mower?

First, check the oil and fuel on a flat surface. Turn the throttle switch to maximum, then press and hold the remote start button for about 10 seconds until the engine fires.

Maintenance & Care

What type of fuel should I use?

Use fresh 92 or 95 unleaded gasoline. Avoid fuel with more than 10% ethanol (E10). For storage longer than 30 days, add a fuel stabilizer or drain the fuel tank to prevent carburetor damage. For the diesel version, please select diesel

How do I sharpen or replace the blades?

We recommend checking the blade after every 10 hours of use. If the cut quality is poor or the mower vibrates excessively, the blade may be dull, bent, or damaged. Replace damaged blades immediately. To sharpen, use a bench grinder—or contact your local small engine shop.

How do I store the mower for winter (off-season)?

Drain the fuel or add stabilizer. Clean the deck and air filter. Remove the spark plug and spray a small amount of oil into the cylinder, then pull the starter cord a few times. Store in a dry, covered place.

Trouble shooting

The mower won’t start. What do I check first?

Check the "big three": (1) Fuel — is there fresh gas? (2) Air — is the air filter clean? (3) Spark — is the spark plug wire connected and the plug clean? Also verify the throttle is set to maximum and the remote has fresh batteries.

The engine starts but the mower cuts poorly / leaves high grass. Why?

A dull or bent blade is the most common cause. Also check: cutting height set too high, travel speed too fast, wet/dense grass, or a loose drive belt.

The remote control is not responding. What should I do?

First, replace the remote batteries. Then check the distance — are you within 200m? If the remote still doesn't work, turn it off and back on. If the issue persists, contact our support team for further diagnosis.

The mower vibrates severely when running. Is it dangerous?

Severe vibration usually indicates a bent, broken, or unbalanced blade. Stop operation immediately and inspect the blade. Replace if damaged — do not attempt to straighten a bent blade.
